The Newport Arms Hotel offers you regency elegance with the warmest of welcomes from your hosts; Nigel and Vanessa Pugh.

All of our bedrooms are individually furnished and have their own character and charm. They are all centrally heated and have en-suite facilities, a colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer. We also have a fully equipped disabled room.

Our careful attention to those little details is what makes staying at the Newport arms so special.
For the comfort of all our guests we operate a non smoking policy, but have a decking area fully covered for smoking guests.

We are in Newport town and just 30 seconds from the canal, there are car parking facilities available to our guests.

The Newport Arms Hotel is a family run hotel which is also an award winning public house incorporating the King James II Restaurant.  All our food is prepared by Nigel using fresh ingredients sourced mainly from Shropshire.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival,no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no show,the total price of the reservation will be charged.
